From first message to final photos: clear, relaxed, and full of heart.
Inquire about your time frame now, ideally while you’re still pregnant. That way we can secure your spot early, and after birth you can simply arrive, we’ll take care of the rest.
Have you ever wondered what actually happens once you reach out to us about a newborn session? Here’s a clear, step-by-step look at the process, so you know exactly what to expect. No question marks, no surprises. From the start, you should feel informed and confident, and it should all feel easy.
Your Newborn Photo Inquiry
In most cases, we receive your inquiry by email, often while your baby is still on the way. And honestly, that’s the most relaxed option for you. It allows us to reserve a flexible time window around your due date. You get peace of mind without being locked into a fixed day, and you’ll know: once your baby arrives, the “finding an appointment” part is already taken care of.
For newborn photos, that’s a real advantage because those first days go by so fast. You won’t have to hunt for an open slot in the middle of the most intense, exciting time, you can simply focus on yourselves and your new beginning.
Last-Minute Sessions: When You Decide After Your Baby Is Born
Sometimes pregnancy flies by, and suddenly your baby is already here, and only then do you realize how much you want to capture this season. And of course, that can work too.
If you reach out last minute, we’ll look together at what’s possible. We’re not always booked out completely, and we’re happy to hear from you even on short notice. The most important thing is that you don’t stress yourself out. It’s always better to send a quick message than to skip it altogether because you’re unsure.

Before the Session: Meet, Ask Questions, Find Your Date
After your first message, I’d love to schedule a no-obligation intro call. It’s there so you feel confident from the start. You can ask anything, we’ll talk through your preferred time frame, and we’ll find the best date together.
Once we’ve reserved your booking window, there’s often a second, more in-depth call. That’s where we get specific about your images and everything that matters to you: do you want more family moments, or more individual portraits? Which combinations are most important to you? And of course: what should you wear so your photos feel cohesive and timeless?
For that part, you’ll get clear styling guidance from us. And in the studio, you’ll have access to a curated client wardrobe, plus coordinated options for dads, so you’re not stressing in front of your closet and everything ends up looking consistent and “all in one piece.”
Your Studio Session: Arrive Relaxed, Follow Baby’s Pace, Take Plenty of Time
On the day of your session, you’ll arrive at our studio and ease in without any rush. Your baby sets the pace, and we create your requested images in the order that works best for your little one. That’s not just a nice phrase, it’s the foundation for truly beautiful newborn photos.
If your baby is hungry, you nurse or bottle-feed. If a break is needed, we take a break. If you need a moment to breathe, there’s space for that. We plan enough time so you never feel hurried for a second. Because when you’re relaxed as parents, your baby feels it immediately. And that’s when those tender, natural images happen.
Take a look at the sweet photos of little Valentin, for example, you can truly see how comfortable he felt. And that’s the goal. Not “pushing through,” but creating a safe, calm framework where real memories can unfold.

After the Session: Your Gallery, Your Selection, and the Question Everyone Asks
What happens after the session? First, you’ll usually head home with a smile. A few days later, you’ll receive an online gallery with the best images. Depending on your package, you’ll then choose your favorites.
And if you can’t decide: you don’t have to. You also have the option to receive the full gallery. Most parents choose that, because every look and every tiny gesture in this season is one of a kind and will never happen in quite the same way again.
Editing and Print Products: So Your Memories Don’t Live Only on Your Phone
As soon as you’ve made your selection, I’ll professionally edit your images. Little newborn blemishes or tiny scratches are gently removed, skin tones stay soft and natural, and the overall look remains timeless.
Once your images are ready, we’re also happy to help you decide what to do with them: high-quality prints, a keepsake album, or wall art that reminds you of this season every day. Because it would be such a shame if your photos lived only in a gallery instead of becoming part of your home.
