I get asked about new photo locations all the time, and I completely understand why. You don’t want a place that’s just “nice enough,” you want a backdrop that truly carries you. A spot where you feel comfortable and your photos automatically look special. My secret? Honestly, there isn’t one.
I grew up here in the Weilheim area. And since I started photographing, I’ve simply moved through the world with even more open eyes. I catch myself all the time, stopping in a place I’ve been a hundred times and thinking, wow, I should do a session here. Right here. Because the light is perfect. Because it feels good. Because I can already see you in it.
One of those hidden gems is a boardwalk near Jenhausen. And if you want maternity photos that feel natural, modern, and still a little extraordinary, this location is a real gift.

For me, a great location comes down to three things: beautiful light, versatility, and easy access. Especially during pregnancy, you don’t want a long, complicated trek, you want a spot that’s easy to reach, yet still makes you feel like you’re far away from everything.
