I’ve had the joy of photographing this special family for several years now. And that’s exactly what I love about it: you don’t just see children grow, you see a family evolve. You see “the three of us” become “the four of us.” This time, the focus was on newborn photos for baby girl number two, and with that, something that often touches people the most in images: those very first moments between siblings.

Newborn Photos in Our Weilheim Studio: Relaxed, Clean, and Full of Heart

This little one decided to arrive a bit earlier than expected. And still, or maybe because of that, one thing mattered most: settling in calmly. With newborn photos, it’s not about a perfect plan, it’s about creating a safe, supportive setting. That’s why we photographed the first soft, tender images around the original due date. No pressure. Plenty of time. And a process that follows the baby.

That’s where the studio is a huge advantage: it’s warm, quiet, and designed for newborns. You don’t have to prep anything, carry a million things, or do anything “right.” You arrive and take a breath. And that’s exactly when the photos happen that don’t feel overly polished, but real.

Newborn Photos with a Big Sister: Fun Is What Makes It Work

With sibling photos, the most important thing isn’t that your toddler “performs perfectly.” It’s that they feel safe and have fun. Big sister was just two years old, and at that age everything is emotion, movement, and “I want to do it myself.” That’s why a sibling session with me never follows a rigid script. It’s more like a little experience where we invite the right moments to happen.

We met big sister where she was: playfully, with plenty of space, and never too much pressure. Sometimes she got to look at the baby, sometimes gently touch her, sometimes sit next to her, and sometimes simply cuddle on mom’s lap. Sibling photos don’t just tell a “cute” story. They tell a story of connection. Of curiosity. Of that first realization: there’s someone here now, and they’re here to stay.

And yes, sometimes the best images are the ones that aren’t “perfect.” A quick glance to the side. A little laugh. A hand that doesn’t want to stay still for long. That’s real life. That’s family.

Magical Moments You Can’t Plan

In the end, we captured not only the love between the sisters, but also the joy and happiness of the entire family. These images are so meaningful because they show that in-between season: you’re still finding your footing, but your family feeling is already there.

For me, newborn photos with siblings always feel like a small miracle. Because they keep the story going. Because they show how closeness grows. And because later, you won’t just see how tiny your baby was, you’ll also remember how big this moment was for all of you.

Parent and Baby: Every Bond Deserves Its Place

Alongside the sibling images, of course we also captured the classic newborn photos: tiny toes, little hands, those delicate features. These details change so quickly that later on, it’s hard to believe they were ever that small. That’s exactly why I photograph them for you, clean and simple, with no distractions, so your baby stays the focus.

We also created images of baby with mom and baby with dad. Those intimate moments are just as precious as the family portraits. Because they don’t only show your baby, they show you: the way you hold them, the way you look at them, the way your world is quietly rearranging itself.

Unforgettable Memories That Last

Newborn sessions are always moments filled with love and tenderness for me. And with siblings, everything gains another layer of depth. It’s not only about a new baby, it’s about a new family dynamic. The first adventures as two. The “us” that has just grown bigger.

This family has a special story, and I’m grateful to be part of it. And who knows, maybe I’ll get to capture the next chapters, too. Because that’s what it’s all about in the end: memories that grow with you.
