Those first days, captured forever.
Ideally, reach out while you’re still pregnant with your due date. We’ll hold a flexible booking window for you, so once your baby arrives, you can simply settle in and we’ll take it from there.
I get asked all the time whether we also come to your home to capture one-of-a-kind memories from those first days with your baby, and whether we travel beyond Weilheim. In general, yes, that’s possible. But these days, we only offer home stories in rare cases, because we have a beautifully designed studio that gives you so many options. And for most families, it’s simply more relaxed: no prep, no cleaning, no “hopefully the light is good enough.”
But if it’s the best option, or if you intentionally want your home to be part of your images, of course we’ll come to you. Some stories belong exactly where they happen. And then we capture them that way, close, real, and with a lot of care.
Grateful for Clients Who Come Back for Years
I’m especially grateful when I get to support my clients over many years. Your trust lets me do what I love. And it’s even more meaningful when I’m not just photographing one day, but multiple chapters of your life with you. That’s what photography is to me: memories that grow with you.
I photographed Florence and Raphael about two and a half years ago at their dream wedding at Hochschloß Pähl. Everything was created with so much attention to detail, lots of DIY touches, and that warm, personal atmosphere you simply can’t plan.

Newborn Photos After the Wedding: When Your Story Continues
When Florence emailed in September to say they were expecting and would love to do a maternity session, I was genuinely so happy to see them again. It’s something special when you reach out a second time because you already know you’re in good hands, with experience, a clear process, and an eye for the small, real moments.
We had a wonderful maternity session together in the Hardt near Weilheim. You can see a few impressions from it here.
Then, shortly before Christmas, their little treasure decided it was time. A few days early, but healthy and full of energy. And with one clear goal: to be back home in time for Christmas.
Newborn Photos: Studio or Home Story, What’s Right for You?
Right at the beginning of the new year, we scheduled their newborn session. In most cases, these photos are created in our studio. You’ll step into a lovingly designed space with different setups, beautiful backdrops, and exactly the light we need for soft, natural newborn images. You arrive, take a breath, and we take care of the rest.
For us, capturing the emotion between you and your baby is truly a matter of the heart. Of course, your newborn can also “pose” for their first photos all on their own. We have wraps, baskets, and carefully selected accessories in the studio. Together, we’ll choose your favorite colors so the images feel like you and stay timeless.
And if you say, “our home is part of this, we want to see it in our photos,” then in rare cases we’ll also come to you. Especially if that’s what feels best for you right now, or if you intentionally want images that show your space, your details, your beginning.

Precious Memories from Those First Days
Just look at him. I couldn’t stop staring and fell in love instantly. Together with mom and dad, we captured such meaningful memories from his very first days of life. There was cuddling, quiet awe, and so many smiles. And it’s often those small moments that end up meaning the most later on.
It’s always important to me to capture plenty of individual portraits of the baby. But just as important are the photos of mom and baby, dad and baby, and of course all of you together as a family. And my absolute favorites can never be missing: close-up detail shots of those tiny little baby feet.
Don’t miss the chance to preserve those itty-bitty toes and hands forever. Time moves so fast. Your newborn becomes a baby, then a toddler, and one day you’ll wonder how it all happened so quickly.
The Best Time for Newborn Photos
The ideal time for newborn photos is within the first two weeks after birth. Most babies are still sleeping a lot then, which makes for beautifully calm, relaxed photos. And if your baby gets hungry in between, that’s completely normal. We take the time you need, with no stress and no pressure.
That’s why you’re welcome to reach out while you’re still pregnant. We’ll note your due date and make sure you have a session within those first two weeks. I’d love for you to trust us with capturing this once-in-a-lifetime season for you.
And a huge thank you also goes out to the parents who allow us to share moments this intimate and special. Thank you for your trust, it truly means the world to us.
